Written by Herman Melville it is an interesting oceanic story about Ishmael a man who embarks in a journey in which he tells the story that he lived in the ocean trying to follow his desire of becoming in a whaler, through the story he knows many people which would help him in the future to accomplish his desire, in this journey he met Queequeg who would later become in his best friend, together they decide to start their adventure but first they needed a ship so Ishmael went to the docks and he found the Pequod whose capitan was Ahab an old madman full of wisdom and experience that lost his leg due to Moby Dick and is willing to find Moby Dick the white whale to get his revenge and finally kill her, so Ishmael finally embarks in his journey and leaves behind Nantucket to hunt whales and inside the ship he lives many moments and anecdotes with the crew of the ship such as Peleg and Bildad who were the owners of the Pequod, Stubb, Starbuck, Flask, Dagoo, Toshtego, Fedallah and as the journey progresses the only objective of the crew is to find Moby Dick and kill her.During all the journey te Pequod meets other ships like the Samuel Enderby, Rachel and The Delight which tells stories about the encounters that they had with Moby Dick , as the end of the story aproaches the Pequodas suffers bad things like broken equipment and a typhon but the final encounter with Moby Dick comes and in a figth that last 3 days , in the first day the whale destroys Ahab's harpoon boat, in the second day Moby Dick is sigthed again and attacks Ahab's boat in which Fedalla dies and finally in the third day the boats are once again sent after Moby Dick who once again attacks them, the men saw Fedallah's corpse lashed to the whale by the harpoons line and Moby Dick rams the Pequod and sinks it. Ahab is caught to his death and the remaining boats and mens are caught in the vortex created boy the sinking Pequod and pulled to their death but the only one who survives is Ishmael thanks to Queequeg's Coffin to be later found by the Rachel ship.
